WOW O_O;; Egads! It's been like... four months, and the ever wonderfully lazy Kaliko Rosa has finally completed a fanart. Seriously! It's been that long
. Anyway, I didn't have anything particular in mind... I just really needed a cure for my summer-time fanart block. So a random Naruto did the trick. My first Naruto fanart too ^^. It's the first of many fanarts to jump-start my new collection for Anime North 2004. Yes, I'll be selling again

This fanart was fairly easy, considering I just stuck with the marker-effect rather than going all-out with the gradated pencil theme I'm more used to. But I liked the way this pic was turning out with just the marker, so cel-style seemed to suit it just fine. I just thought it was such a funky picture that it HAD to be done as a fanart, X3.
Favorite Aspects
The lollipop ^^. I don't have too many good quality markers so I was dumbfounded as to which ones I could use for a candy colour. Who ever knew that green and yellow could look so yummy?
Least Favorite Aspects
The glove >_>;; I didn't have a high-quality brown marker for that so I had to use the cheap kind and put like six layers to get rid of those annoying streaks >_<;

Its been a while but, it is great to hear from you and to see a new fanart too! I hope we get to see more of you here on deviant art. Well, Mediaminer is back (the same site that was down for about a year) and I'm thinking of bieng on Mediaminer again but, haven't decided on what fanart to put up first ( I'll have to re-register, cause the stupid site ereased my account)!
