This is from my most beloved anime, and my most beloved OVA that downright broke my wee lil heart!
! This is of course from Seisouhen, the LAST of the Kenshin OVAs, which closes the wonderful story that revolves around the legendary "wanderer" Himura Kenshin.
I don't want to give away much about what happens, but if you've seen it, you would know that this picture is VERY symbolic. It's from a screenshot where we first see Kenshin and Kaoru kiss for the VERY first time *sniffles* Downright damn romantic, if you ask me. Kenshin's words before he kissed her were, "Finally... this man has found someone to come home to...", sweet echoing words that inspired the title of this picture, since in that sense even though Kenshin does still wander, he always somehow wanders right back into the arms of his beloved wife, Kaoru. At this point we truly see how achingly romantic this OVA is, and how much the Kenshin and Kaoru relationship grows.
The OVA was one that really touched me emotionally, and this was my tribute to such a story well-told. I am in love with that sexy Kenshin, but his love life brings me to subtle tears. This is my tribute to the man who finally gets the love that he's deserved and needed his entire life.

I loved the animation style, but Kenshins character was way off in it, and I dont consider them canon, but since he and Kaoru ARE canon, that works for me! He did deserve so much better than the OVA treated him.
