Comments: Gack! This took a good while to complete, and I'm worrying that I rushed the ending part.. ah well.. lol ^^

Yep, it's a watercolour painting once again! I've been hoping to use acrylics but since I'm really premature at acrylics I've decided instead to use watercolours in acrylic style to try and get a feel of it. I still think acrylics are too stubborn but since I'm running out of watercolour paper I guess I'll be switching over soom enough

I've been wanting to paint this picture for quite a long time. It was drawn from my IY artbook. This image is of course from my BELOVED episode 48 -- in my opinion the BEST Inu Yasha episode to date *sniffles* -- which is when Kagome's mother comforted her when Kagome was deeply depressed with issues concerning Inu Yasha (not to give any spoilers Kagome's mother then told her about Goshinboku's history in her romance to her father (which I'm guessing was a REALLY sensitive topic for Ms. Higurashi to speak of since Kagome's father apparently seems to be deceased.) It was a truly touching moment and I was hoping painting it would help illustrate that bond and trust between mother and daughter.

The foreground characters were painted in solid paints, as well as the bench thing, and the foliage in the background. Watercolor pencils were used for the fence and the sky. I noticed much earlier on that the characters were off-center, but I decided that they'd be okay that way too ^^ The scanner made it look really darkish to the left, but the actual painting rather light ^^
