Canvas: 8"x11" card paper Date Created: March 28 - April 4, 2003 Anime: Yu-Gi-Oh! Characters: Yami Malik, Malik Ishtar My Comments: MALIK-KUN!! ^_^ This might sound odd, but I've never really watched Yu-Gi-Oh! before, I do read the mangas, but I'm no where near the part where our beloved Malik resides. But nevertheless, my friends and I hold an OBSESSION to this very sexy bishonen of bishonen, Malik Ishtar! From what I hear of him, he's a pretty cool character, and I swear, he's equipped with one of the best male bods in anime thus far... if you catch my drift ^_~;; My friend sent me a picture of a poster of him a while ago, and I loooved how the art was like, so I decided to make my own reproduction... and here it is! ^_^ This took longer than expected, mainly because the original picture had very complex shading, and it took a while to try and get that same effect with the pencils and markers. Then I was dumbfounded for what to do with the background, since I didn't like the background of the original, but after getting inspired from other pictures, I tossed together that random combination of moon and fire. I really liked reproducing that picture because it taught me a lot about different colours that can be used to shade and achieve certain effects. I think it came out okay, and hopefully, it won't be the last I draw of Mr. Malik Ishtar  Hope you liked it and thanks for viewing! Peace. Love. Anime. Great picture. I love the way you drew yugi and the other guy. Yugi's right arm looks a little stiff, hmmm, maybe bending it a little would have helped that.
