Last year, on the yearbook committee during Gr. 10, I was assigned to design the "divider" pages in our high school yearbook . To my delight, I was *encouraged* to do it anime-style ^_^ And so, I drew about 5 divider pages as well as all of the grade "header" pictures. These artworks were printed in over 1700+ yearbooks in 2003 ! My artwork was technically published for hundreds of people to own ^_^. It was one of my proudest artistic accomplishments! Many of my fellow students recognized me the following year. Some kids I never met before somehow recognized me as "the girl who drew the pictures in the yearbook". Even kids I met in other schools who had siblings in my school knew of my art. I was impressed with how my far my humble anime-style artwork reached out to the local community.

Unfortunately, I quit Yearbook the year after because the workload was too much for me. However, if I get along with the Yearbook staff members this year, I may negotiate drawing for them again .

This page served as the divider/cover page to the classic yearbook mug shots section ^_^. This divider was considered a favourite from many students I talked to, mainly because they loved the variety of things to look at in this picture, and the creativity of it. Admittedly, it is one of my favourite pieces I did for the yearbook. It probably took the longest to do as well! But I just loved getting to bring the mug shots to life, and trying to capture the diverse personality of so many students through the characters in the mug shots . It was fun, though I would never want to draw it again, lol ^_^!
