Well, a lot has changed since I very first signed onto DA... quite a lot. I guess that's life for ya! Everyone I know is getting old and so am I, hah, so I guess it happens.


Well, the main changes are really that I'm not very much into anime anymore... or fanart... or cosplay. It's sad to say in some ways because hey, that's what I focused on for so many years and was the pride of what I did. It was essentially how I expressed my creativity.... Falling out of the phase hit hard over the last few months where I felt like I had no idea what was doing, and didn't pick up a pencil to draw in what felt like ages. Thankfully, that terrible art block period is slowly passing as I'm picking up the pieces of what I want to do now.


I still watch anime occasionally and I know all about the culture still because Tenshi (remember him? ) still is into it. But I'm trying to move on... for my own reasons. I just feel like not being into anime helps me connect to new types of people I didn't talk to before, and this is kinda necessary for me in my small college. Though it's a difficult adjustment to make as well.


My art has also taken a very digital twist. I don't have that much time (or inspiration yet) to devote to big traditional media pieces. So I've been playing around a lot with vector work... hopefully I'll have more impressive pieces to share.


Thanks to all of you fanart fans out there who followed my posts in the previous years. I'm glad you liked my old anime artworks, and I wish you the best in your own art. Unfortunately I probably won't delve into that area anymore... but it was always wonderful to have support.


I don't anticipate a very big fanbase for my newer posts, but that's alright by me. I just want to have the work hosted somewhere in case I feel like sharing it with friends or family. At some point in time, closer to my graduation, I will probably close this account down when I make a real portfolio site.
